Ionospray Creates/Donates Electrostatic Sprayer for GHC3, KIPP Metro Atlanta’s

Back 2 School Program

ATLANTA – Ionospray has become a partner in the Global Health Crisis Coordination Center (GHC3)’s Back 2 School program. Electrostatic Sprayers were used in schools across Atlanta. The units created for this program were designed with input and criteria from GHC3’s team of global health experts, as well as the KIPP team of administrators and educators, in accordance with guidance recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Operating schools during COVID-19 considerations.

“Together with E&I Solutions of Tulsa, we are pleased to be able to provide our high-capacity electrostatic sprayers to Kipp Woodson Park and GHC3 for testing and then long-term use at the school,” said Dr. Rongrong Liu, co-founder of Ionospray.  “These sprayers use the latest technology to efficiently and effectively apply disinfectants to indoor spaces.  Electrostatic sprayers are an important part of reducing exposure to all kinds of harmful microbes, including coronavirus.”

“Our Back 2 School program is a collaborative effort between our global health team, KIPP Woodson Park Academy, and private sector partners to apply school-based public health measures and determine best practices for COVID-19 prevention in a learning environment,” said Ken Berta, Executive Director of GHC3. “Through one school’s experience, we were able to analyze, evaluate, and get a true understanding of the difficulties faced by schools across the U.S. in this pandemic.

“At KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, our number one priority is the safety of our students, faculty and families during this pandemic.  We are incredibly grateful for this collaboration with GHC3 and the opportunity to ensure a safe environment for our students,” said Dave Howland, Managing Director of External Relations for KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools.
